How do I change my ProntoForms password?

All users are capable of changing their own password.  Users can change their password through the ProntoForms web portal at http://live.prontoforms.com, or directly from their mobile device (iOS and Android Users only).   Pronto Admins also have the ability to change the user password of any member of their team from the portal.  

Note: Due to password changes affecting the login credentials for both the mobile and ProntoForms web portals, users who change their password will be unable to submit forms until they update their mobile device's password by logging out of the app.

 

Change User Password in the Web Portal

For Pronto Admins:

  1. From the Users & Groups drop-down in the main menu,  mouse over "List Users."

  2. Select the desired user that you wish to edit. This will bring up that user's profile.

  3. Click the changepassword.png button.

  4. Enter and confirm the new Password.

  5. After applying the desired changes, click the update.jpg button.

For Pronto Users & Mobile-Only Users:

Users must know their current password in order to log in and access the Change Password screen.  If you do not know your current password, contact a Pronto Admin to change your password for you.

  1. Mouse over your username in the top right corner, and select User Profile.

  2. Click the changepassword.png button.

  3. Enter your Current Password and then set your New Password.

  4. After applying the desired changes, click the update.jpg button.

Change User Password from the ProntoForms App

Note:  This option is only available for iOS and Android users.

iOS Users

  1. Open the ProntoForms app and enter your ProntoForms Settings (the gear icon on the Forms/Inbox screens).

  2. Under Account, select Account Details.

  3. Press the Change Password button.

  4. Enter your current password and the new password.

Android Users

  1. Open the ProntoForms app and enter your ProntoForms Settings through the menu button (location varies by device). 

  2. Under Account, select Account Details.

  3. Press the Change Password button.

  4. Enter your current password and the new password.
