Creating & Managing Mobile Forms


Note: As of November 2018, you will be unable to create new V1 forms. All new forms must be built in the V2 Form Builder, which is available to all ProntoForms customers (view our FAQ here) For more information on how to enable V2 forms, please read: Enabling Access to V2 Forms.


The web-based form builder makes it easy to create and update forms.   No programming or special training is required; it's easy to get mobile forms up and running in no time. 



Create a Form

To create a new form:

  1. Ensure you are in the desired FormSpace.
  2. Mouse over the Manage Forms tab.
  3. Select Create New Form from the dropdown list.  
  4. Choose one of the following:

List Forms

 To list existing forms:

  1. Ensure you are in the desired FormSpace.
  2. Mouse over the Manage Forms tab.
  3. Select List Forms from the dropdown list.

Edit a Form

 To edit an existing form:

  1. List Forms as described above.
  2. Select the desired form from the list. 
  3. Press the editform.png button on the following screen.

Delete a Form

Deleting a form:

  • Removes the form from mobile devices when users next reconcile
  • Permanently deletes the form from the web portal; the form cannot be recovered
  • Permanently deletes form submissions and Draft/Outbox items 

Deleting a form is not recommended. Archiving the form instead will remove it from use while still retaining data.


To delete a form:

  1. Navigate to the desired form.
  2. Mouse over the dropdown beside the form name.
  3. Select Permanently Delete.
