Zendesk Connection


This feature is available on the following tiers: Enterprise, Advanced.




The Zendesk Connection links ProntoForms to a Zendesk account, allowing the Zendesk Data Destination to route submitted form data to Zendesk. Note that the Connection will only be used if referenced in the Zendesk Data Destination configuration.  

Enterprise and Cloud Connections link to external services from which data sources can import data, and to which data destinations can route data.  Read more about Connections here.

Configure the Connection

  1. Name the Connection and optionally provide a description.
  2. Select the FormSpaces that are allowed to use this connection.  This step will be skipped if creating a new connection while creating a Data Destination or Data Source, as the connection will automatically be linked to the FormSpace the Data Destination or Data Source is in. 
  3. Enter an existing ZenDesk username and password.  This must be an agent's credentials.
  4. Alternatively, use your ZenDesk API token as the password, and check off the "Password is my Zendesk API Token" checkbox. Note: If using the API token, be sure to enable Token Access in ZenDesk.  This can be found under Settings->Channels->API.
  5. Click the Create button.
