Organizations of all sizes use the Salesforce platform to manage customer relationships and power their business in the cloud. Salesforce is highly customizable and designed to work with add-on applications, making it a highly flexible and powerful tool for managing many of your business functions.
ProntoForms allows for integration with Salesforce. Using a Salesforce Data Source, data can be retrieved from Salesforce for use in a ProntoForms form. Using a Salesforce Data Destination, you can create or update Salesforce records, upload documents, and execute Apex code using the data from a submitted form.
Check out the video below for a quick demonstration of the ProntoForms Salesforce integration.
A Salesforce Connection in ProntoForms enables a secure connection from ProntoForms to the Salesforce Application Programming Interface (API). Through this connection, ProntoForms can pull in data from Salesforce and push data to Salesforce.
In ProntoForms, you can create connections to both production and sandbox Salesforce environments. and access extended Salesforce solutions, such as ServiceMax.
ProntoForms offers two types of Salesforce Data Sources. Both of the data sources retrieve data from your Salesforce organization but they differ in how they are configured and how many records they can retreive. Data from either type of data source can be used to populate a list of options in Dropdown, Radio Button, or Multiselect questions.
