need to take pdf customization to another level

Hi, I always send a pdf copy of my reports to my customers (attached to a custom email).

I would like to give my reports a more fancy look (color text, tables, alert images instead of a yes or no)

It all as to happen seamlessly, no human effort needed (except for creating templates).

I looked into "ultradox" but the small user base and the permissions required don't make me comfortable.

Any suggestion? I obviously want to maintain the capability of sending the reports automatically.

thanks

    Hello Stefano,

I'm not sure if you are familiar with our PDF customization services.  We offer professional services to build custom PDF's that can do/look like just about anything -- we have many customers with custom PDF's using tables, conditional logic, and more.  These reports can still be sent out with the email destination just like you are currently doing.

You can read more about this service here:  https://www.prontoforms.com/support/deployment-services

Our team has many examples they can show you as well.

For minor modifications to your PDF's -- like changing the text colors, fonts, etc, you can already do that in the web portal: https://support.prontoforms.com/entries/89594738-How-To-Customize-your-PDF-documents

Do these options meet your needs?

yes, I know about your service and about the basic customization. It's just not what I was looking for.

I need to customize everything by myself because probably we'll do a lot of changes.

I'd like to know if someone used ultradox or a similar service also and how well it works with prontoforms.

I do this using Google Docs. I get the data from the form as a structured JSON file, and then use a Google Docs template and insert the data, including images, into the template document. It means I have total control over the look of the document, but it did take quite a bit of programming in Google Apps Script to make it all work.

Hi Andy, I'm trying to do something like you did. Would you to share your work?
