Local save of submitted records

Team I love this app. One thing that would be very useful is a way to save locally (on the mobile device) all submitted records. This would allow our guys to go back and review the old data and make changes / additions if necessary. The changed doc could still be a new record if that is necessary I. Our system. Thanks

Hey Robert and thank you for the support and feedback, The voice of our customer is critical to our success and our product development, with that being said I don't believe we currently have any plans for in app record retention but will pose the suggestion to our product management and dev team for further discussion for a future release. We do offer the ability to have the records e-mailed back to the person who is submitting them as a work around this would be done through the use of an e-mail data destination click here to find out more.

Good day.  I believe this is what you were waiting for, and is now available:

Glenn, Thx for the feedback. What you have is a great first step, but what is desired is the ability to edit submitted forms, not only to look at the output. This would work like the draft box works, except it would be called sent. For example, if I submit a 4 page report to a client that contains errors, I would want the ability to reload that form, make the correction, and then re-submit it. I want to do this through the app, rather than editing a Word document.

    Hello All,

We currently do not have any plans to implement an option for "sent" items to be editable.  There are a few issues surrounding this, including problems involving editing forms that customers/technicians have already signed off on.

I have one possible workaround to suggest.  If you do not normally dispatch forms to users, what you could do is set up a dispatch data destination so that submitted data is dispatched back to the user every time they submit a form -- this would make the form end up in their Inbox.  They could then edit the info and re-send -- although this would register as a new form submission/data record.

You can read more about the dispatch data destination here:  https://truecontext.zendesk.com/entries/24801767-Dispatch-Data-Destination

As always, we appreciate your feedback and input, and we take your suggestions into serious consideration when planning future development.
